Generative AI is powerful, but it requires the precision of traditional production to be production-ready. I don't believe in "one-click" solutions. Instead, I treat AI models as sophisticated generators of raw material—creating textures, mattes, and video plates that I then refine, composite, and polish using industry-standard tools.

How I Integrate the Old with the New:

  • AI + After Effects: Using GenAI to create complex, surreal motion backgrounds or particle assets, then bringing them into After Effects for precise keyframing, color grading, and rotoscoping.

  • Generative B-Roll: augmenting traditional video edits in Premiere Pro with AI-generated B-roll to fill gaps in storytelling where stock footage falls short.

  • Photoshop Compositing: Generating specific elements (props, set extensions) in Midjourney/Firefly and seamlessly blending them into photography using traditional masking, lighting, and compositing techniques.

AI does not exist in a vacuum. To be effective, it must integrate with the tools professional teams already use. I design "hybrid" pipelines that feed Generative AI outputs directly into the Adobe Creative Cloud ecosystem, bridging the gap between raw generation and polished final delivery. I also use AI in my day-to-day work. Beyond the creative side, there is the business side.
